There are some things that the words can't describe.

Vinko has discovered Art to describe those things very early in his life.
When he was twelve he's got his first camera. He started with usual subjects but from
unusual angles experimenting with shapes and light. The love affair with photography began.
Art was his favourite subject in primary and secondary schools and naturally he ended studying Art. He graduated as a Fine Art teacher.
That's not the end of the story, that's the begining of Vinko's rich and diverse creative career

He started his artistic career in local newspaper as a graphic designer. His job was to visually edit pages and photographs every day for fifteen years. He learned and developed further his knowledge about art of photography over the years of his professional career in multimedia industry.

Working with computer art - photography naturally become integral part of his creative process. New technology offered new challenges and opportunities to extend his creativity. Photography was always present in combination with other creative media - from Graphic Design, Illustrations, Web Design, 2D Animation, Photography, Television, Special Effects for Film and TV/Video.

He studied "Creative Studies" in Queens University in Belfast and "Digital Compositing for Film and Video" in Escape Studios in London, the biggest animation and special effects for film and television studio in Europe.

Love for photography in the last couple of years mixed with passion to share his enthusiasm, experience and knowledge with others opened another chapter in his life. Studio Istria was born.

With roots in Istria where he spent most of his life he has also been residing in the region of beautiful Mourne Mountains
in N. Ireland for the past 20 years which have served as a creative inspiration for many artists and poets alike.
It was very natural and logical to choose these beautiful and picturesque parts of the world for Photography Holidays destinations. Places that he loves very much and are so dear to his heart.
